In a new handmade vessel from Austin based company Sertodo, new wooden wicks to provide a lovely crackle and flame, and a custom scent that is not available in any of our other sizes or vessels, The Lonesome Dove truly is in a world of it's own. Warm tobacco, honey, citrus, amber, and spice makes this candle the most dreamy one in our collection of candles, thus far.
The coolest part about this collection? The reusable mug. That's right, after your candle has reached the end, you can simply wash the remaining wax out and use the mugs for your favorite drink. Our choice? A Moscow mule of course! The copper continues to patina over time and transition into a custom mug just for you.
About Our Candles:
The production is kept small — candles are poured in batches of 6-8 in Austin, TX. Each candle, from placing the all-natural wick, to wax melting and pouring, to wick-cutting and labeling, is constructed by hand with the highest standards in mind. Under optimal conditions, our 12oz copper mug candles will burn 80+ hours.

Burning Instructions:
To ensure safe and even burning, allow the wax to puddle entire length of jar before blowing out. Trim wick to ⅛" to ¼" prior to each burn. For optimal burns, place candle in an area away from drafts, vents, and fans. Just a reminder, wooden wicks are tricky! It might take a couple of attempts for a complete light.
After the Burn:
To continue our sustainability efforts, mugs can easily be cleaned out and reused. Wash and immediately dry your copper items after use to prevent spotting! When not dried immediately, spotting can occur due to the trace amounts of chemicals in your tap water that can cause a reaction with the copper. We recommend using Wright's Copper Cream to get the shine back completely.
