Where do your products come from?
Everything we currently sell in the Whiskey Boat Goods store is hand crafted by us, right here in Austin, Texas. We use all natural products and renewable resources as often as possible.
What makes your candles different?
The production is kept small — candles are poured in batches of 4-8 in Austin, TX. Each candle, from placing the all-natural wick, to wax melting and pouring, to wick-cutting and labeling, is constructed by hand with the highest standards in mind. Under optimal conditions, our 9 oz candles will burn for 50+ hours and our 16oz will burn for 90+ hours.

What makes your soap different?
1) Our handmade soap is made of vegetable oils and butters that are rich in antioxidants, vitamins and nutrients that are essential to healthy skin. Handmade soaps in general have been shown to improve skin conditions such as itching, dryness and skin conditions such as excema, psoriasis and acne. Everyone wants healthy skin and switching to daily use of handmade soap is the best place to start.
2) In the local market you have an array of personal cleansers to choose from that are labeled as deodorant soap, body bars, and body washes. These are just chemical cocktails made of detergents and downright disturbing synthetic ingredients that dehydrate and age skin, cause allergic reactions and have been linked to various forms of cancer. Our handmade soap is free of all of these chemicals and are all natural.
3) Glycerin is created when our soap is created, it is not added. It maintains water balance by attracting moisture to your skin. It is proven to be so beneficial to your skin that it is extracted from commercial ‘soap’ and reserved for higher priced body care items such as lotion. Our handmade soap retains all of its natural glycerin and produces a rich lather that commercial "soaps" can't be compared to.

Do you require deposits on wholesale/bulk orders?
Yes. Prior to candle production, we require a deposit equal to 50% of the order value.

We work hard to curate the finest products to ensure our customers receive the best products out there. If you feel otherwise, please contact us at email@example.com and we will do our best to address the issues.
What are your shipping policies?
We ship 5 days per week from Austin, TX. Everything comes minimally packaged and is perfect for gifting. We pack each box with the least amount of waste possible, whilst ensuring safe transit. Please wait 24 hours from time of shipping confirmation before inquiring about a package as there may be a delay before the printing and scanning of the label.
DISCOUNTED SHIPPING does not apply on wood items. UPS is our primary carrier for shipping home goods. The shipping charge is based on the size and weight of the package, as well as the distance the package travels.
If you would like to exchange an object, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org within 7 days of receiving the package. We will send you a exchange/return authorization form that must be filled out and included in your package. Items must be shipped back in the condition in which they were received - with the original tags and packaging.
Please note additional shipping charges may apply, and will be responsibility of the customer. If you are an International customer, please note that you will be responsible for the duties and taxes, should they arise.
Gifts can be returned for store credit only. Sale items cannot be exchanged.
We will gladly accept returns on objects in new and unused condition (excluding ALL HOME GOODS). If you would like to return an object, contact us at email@example.com within 7 days of receiving your order. You may return your item for store credit or full refund of the amount which you paid at purchase time. The buyer is responsible for return shipping to our work shop. Refunds will be credited back to your original method of payment, and will post approximately three days after the date of processing.
Returned goods are your responsibility until they reach our warehouse, so make sure they are packed properly and cannot get damaged on the way. All goods will be inspected on return.
Gifts can be returned for store credit only. Sale items cannot be exchanged or returned.
All handmade wood items are one-of-a-kind and non-returnable.
